Player Profiles

Position:Half Back
Which team do you look forward to playing the most and why?Na Piarsaigh - Always had a huge history with them underage, and the games are always physical and tight but clean as well. There's just a general respect for each other from the age group I grew up with even though we murder each other on the pitch.
Biggest influence on my career:The father, Mick Kilcoyne, and Sean Cremin from the underage days.
Most memorable game as a player:2009 minor county semi final in hurling versus Na Piarsaigh, Both sides were incredible on the day and we came out on the right side after extra time. For football, the Clyda Rovers quarter final in 2012 was special.
Least memorable game as a player:2012 intermediate county final. That might be the most memorable because I still remember every detail. Depressing stuff.
Best Footballer you have ever seen:Colm Cooper overall but as a wing back, Tomas O'Se would be the one you'd aim for.
Favourite sport besides football:Any of hurling, rugby and NFL. Rugby if Munster are playing.
Favourite band or musician:Bastille right now. Special mention to Eagle Eyed Cherry.
If there was a transfer market, who would you buy for St. Michaels:Michael Dara McCauley, you'd miss the Dub accent when Will's away. And he'd save me from when Deasy's kick outs land on me.
If you could change anything about the game what would it be:Allow black cards and yellow cards to be given while the game gets carried on, if the player ignores the ref and interferes, change it to a red. Late in a game lads will still take the card because the game stops for the ref to issue it so the problem of being cynical and slowing the game is still there.
You may not know it but I'm actually good at:Talking Shit
Best invention ever:The Pill
